Bonebrake headed to DII Montevallo

MONTEVALLO, AL--Recent Lake Land College graduate, Kassidy Bonebrake, will continue her student-athletic collegiate career at the University of Montevallo in central Alabama.

Bonebrake becomes a Falcon at Montevallo and will play for head women's basketball coach, Van Atta. Montevallo is a NCAA Division II member currently playing in the Peach Belt Conference, but will move to the Gulf Coast Conference starting with the upcoming season. Montevallo's enrollment is about 3,000 students.

One of six signees, Bonebrake is one of three transfers, and one of two coming in as juniors. The third transfer is a sophomore, with the balance all incoming freshmen.

Bonebrake played for the Lake Land College Lady Lakers for two seasons under head women's basketball coach, Dave Johnson. Bonebrake red-shirted after her freshman season due to injury, returning to action for a successful sophomore year that earned her MVP honors in NJCAA's Division II Region 24.
