How to find broadcasts for the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic

Tuesday, December 27, 2016

Lakerball hopes to further assist those who are unable to travel to the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic but would like to experience specific games, or as much of the Classic as possible.

Finding livestream and radio broadcasts for any junior college's team events can be challenging as each school seems to employ a variety of broadcast methods, if any at all. Finding a media player or a link to the same can be like finding a needle in a haystack.

Lakerball hopes to guide you to the broadcasts of the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic with minimal effort.

There will be livestream (audio and video, like TV) as well as online radio (a simulcast of the livestream). We know for some people, getting live video can be frustrating if their home internet service is not "fast" enough. For them, our online radio gives them another avenue to the games, as audio-only on the internet is much easier to receive in the homes.

Everything we broadcast is free to experience.

Understandably, if you're not a regular online spectator of Laker Athletics, everything on the Lakerball blog will be unfamiliar. A quick study of the images below may help you understand just where to look for various broadcast media players and game information. Remember, the Lakerball blog is dynamic, with lots of posts, images, and sidebar links changing on a daily basis, so the blog may look somewhat different each day. We'll try to keep the important stuff relative to the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic in the same place to make things easier.

The top of the Lakerball blog is is where most of the avenues to broadcasts of the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic can be found. With new live streams for each game, an occasional refresh of the page may be necessary. (Click on image to enlarge.)

Just below the top portion of the Lakerball blog, you'll find a bevy of information. For the 2016 Laker Holiday Classic, a scroll down the rightmost sidebar may help you decide which links are most helpful for your needs. Tip: Right-click and open your "go-to" sites in a new tab or window so you can keep the media player's broadcast going while you're away. (Click on image to enlarge.)
